U. names new director to head Athletic facilities Bryan's hiring was met with optimism by Penn officials. "We are very pleased that David will be joining us," Athletic Director Steve Bilsky said in a press release. "His leadership and supervisory skills will definitely strengthen our department." Bryan has a wide range of experience in the field of event management. An account executive at Chesapeake Advertising for the last two years, Bryan was responsible for launching several successful advertising and marketing campaigns and for implementing a multimillion-dollar media plan. Bryan previously worked for the Atlantic City Sea Gulls of the United States Basketball League, where he served as marketing and sales director. Among his responsibilities was the sale of sponsorships, for which he took part in presentations to corporate sponsors and civic groups. Bryan was also previously employed by Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino. As special projects manager, he was responsible for the coordination of all entertainment events sponsored by Trump Plaza. His other responsibilities at Trump Plaza included budgeting, staff supervision and overseeing the fulfillment of all contractual obligations.
