To the Editor: As of Monday morning, Walnut Street bridge sidewalks were still encrusted with a thick layer of ice, making for treacherous passage for campus-bound pedestrians. Considering that most pedestrians crossing the Walnut Street bridge are Penn affiliated, I think the University should take it upon itself to clear the bridge sidewalks, too. Srinivas Sripada Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. '99 Accessible exams To the Editor: I would like to propose that the University put scanned copies of past exams on the Penn library home page. The Student Committee on Undergraduate Education could negotiate with the Council of Undergraduate Deans that instructors with a course enrollment of more than, say, 20 or 30 students could give a copy of exams to the library. The library could scan the copy and place it under school, subject and course heading so that students can find it when they need it. Sebastian Zientalak College '00
