To the Editor: While the photographer will no doubt go on to a cushy job at an elite publication, he or she should realize that blue-collar workers are individual people, not slaves to society that deserve to go nameless in their masses. The blue-collar worker struggles to support families across the nation while acting as a stable backbone for the American society. However, such work is considered unworthy by the DP, which denies this man the dignity of a name. Obviously, the DP does not learn from experience, as the recent negative feedback it has received has neither enlightened them nor increased their sensitivity toward those who are not fortunate enough to attend an Ivy League institution. Everyone is a person, and every person has a name, whether he is drinking Thunderbird outside Kelly & Cohen's, restocking a soda machine, or just working for an ignorant, elitist Ivy League newspaper.
