Ashton Kutcher, who was scheduled to speak at the Wharton School Wednesday, postponed his appearance.

Ashton Kutcher, who had to cancel his original plans to visit Penn this week, has rescheduled his appearance.

He was originally supposed to appear on Sept. 18. The event has been postponed to Oct. 7 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. in the Annenberg School’s Zellerbach Theater.

Kutcher was selected to speak through the Lauren and Bobby Turner Social Impact Executive Speaker Series, which in the past, has brought celebrities like Eva Longoria to campus.

According to an email from the Wharton School and Wharton Social Impact Initiative, invitations will be sent out next week so that the Penn community can register for the event. Those still interested in attending will have to re-register for the event.

Wharton said Kutcher had to cancel his Wednesday appearance because of the death of Kabbalah Chief Rabbi Berg. Kutcher left to attend the rabbi’s funeral in Israel.
