This weekend at the Palestra, Penn gymnastics took on Cornell, Brown, and Ursinus in the team's home opener. The Quakers were hoping to top their performance from last weekend, when they scored 190.000 and finished second.

The Quakers faced tough competition from Ohio State, Northwestern, North Carolina, and Penn State, and left with three wins in total: two from the men's side and one from the women. 

Over the last few years, Penn sprint football has been one of Penn's more successful varsity programs. It also has one of the more — if not the most — unique recruiting processes.  

As the final player standing between the goal and the ball, junior goalkeeper Ava Rosati plays one of Penn field hockey's most important positions.

Philadelphia is becoming a national athletic powerhouse, and Penn's tennis program is part of the reason why.

Since joining the team as a walk-on, the freshman has accumulated a seven-game winning streak. She has now risen all the way up to No. 6 on the squash ladder. 

Penn men's fencing freshman Michael Li might be new to the Red and Blue, but he's old to the sport.

Penn fencing's season began at the Elite Invitational this past week, where the Quakers beat out the majority of the competition with wins over North Carolina, Air Force, and Northwestern. As a team, they fought a close battle to Ohio State, the previous second-ranked school in the country, and fell by a slim margin where the men lost 15-12, and the women 18-9.

Just three days after Penn men's soccer's 4-1 win against Yale, the Quakers fell to West Virginia, 1-0, on Tuesday in one of their more even matches of the season.
