Penn’s Annenberg School for Communication’s researchers co-developed a new interactive map that shows proposed NIH funding cuts may lead to an estimated $16 billion in economic loss and 68,000 jobs lost.

The U.S. National Science Foundation awarded a grant a group of researchers from three universities — including Annenberg School for Communication professor Sarah J. Jackson and Brian and Randi Schwartz University Professor Desmond Upton Patton — to create a program supporting STEM researchers from underrepresented backgrounds.
La Casa Latina, the main community space for Latinx students at Penn, has been organizing various cultural events to promote greater awareness of Latinx issues on campus.
La Casa Latina kicked off Latinx Heritage Month with the Procession of Flags on Sept. 15.
