Members of Penn’s on- and off-campus fraternities told The Daily Pennsylvanian that they remain confused about how the policy is being implemented and enforced.

Also, the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi has returned to campus after an 18-month suspension.

The increased spending comes after the University’s federal funding — which amounts to over $1 billion annually — was threatened several times by the Trump administration this past year.  

SEPTA will restore full operations using $394 million in state-allocated funds on Sept. 14, reversing the 20% bus and metro service cuts that began on three weeks prior.

“We need to focus on public health measures, meaning gun control laws, and having more care available for schools and children,” Kettl said in an interview with The Daily Pennsylvanian.

The disciplinary measure was enforced after an investigation found that DSP members were responsible for posting “Missing Cow” flyers across Penn’s campus in November 2023.

The study analyzed over six hundred autopsy-confirmed individuals in data collected by Penn’s Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research Brain Bank from 1999 to 2022. 

This year’s cohort will conduct research across Penn’s School of Arts and Sciences, the Perelman School of Medicine, and the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
