In this week's edition of Is Stat So?, a pair of cousins dominated for sprint football, a month-long shutout streak came to an end, and Penn football failed to stop Yale's ground game.

Touchdowns by cousins Jake and Ben Klaus in sprint football’s 38-14 win over Caldwell. Jake, a senior running back, and Ben, a freshman tight end, also combined for 209 yards of total offense.


Rushing yards given up by Penn football in its 23-10 loss to Yale on Friday night. This is the most the Quakers have given up in a single game all season, and the most since they gave up 294 to CCSU last fall.


 Length, in minutes, of the Penn women’s soccer shutout streak that ended against Yale in the Quakers’ 2-1 win. That streak spanned eight games, dating all the way back to a 4-2 victory over Navy on Sept. 9.



Consecutive games in which Penn men’s soccer has scored a goal after a 1-1 draw to Yale. The Quakers have scored just six goals in 11 games this season.


Consecutive losses for Penn volleyball against Princeton following a 3-0 loss on Friday. The Quakers also lost to the Tigers in straight sets earlier this year.
