An alleged armed robbery near campus prompted a UPenn Alert at 1:34 a.m. on Saturday.
Penn Police received a call about the robbery at 1:22 a.m. Witnesses claimed two suspects entered the 7-11 on 42nd and Walnut streets and pulled out a weapon, demanding money. Upon leaving the store, they headed westbound on Walnut.
Increased Penn Police presence will be sustained in the area as the investigation continues.
