A new graphic on The Upshot has ranked colleges based on economic diversity.
Penn has a "College Access Index" score of 0.9, which according to the article is "based on the share of freshmen in recent years who came from low-income families (measured by the share receiving a Pell grant) and on the net price of attendance for low- and middle-income families."
Vassar College is the top school on the list with a score of 3.1.
Amongst its Ivy League peers, Penn is topped by Harvard, Columbia, and Brown.
