Here at Penn we like to say we play hard and party hard. As Engineering Class Chair, I want to make sure we maintain this reputation as an academically and socially vibrant campus. As a member of the 2015 class board, I will work hard to continue traditions like engineering week and initiate new events such as a 24-hour danceathon to benefit the community or a freshman formal to unite our class. I have served as president of multiple societies in the past, but much more importantly, I am approachable, dedicated, and energetic. I assure you I have the sincerest interest in ensuring the engineers have a voice on this year’s class board. If there is one fact every engineer knows, it is that E=MC2, or that Engineering equals Me for Class Chair! So remember, the future is bright with Alia working at the speed of light!
