Junior attack Erin Brennan was named to the 24-woman Tewaaraton Nominee list Monday. The award is given annually to the best collegiate women’s lacrosse player.
Brennan has been the driving force in Penn’s offense this season, scoring 26 goals and 10 assists this season on 59 shots.
The junior is the only remaining Quakers player under consideration for the Tewaaraton Award. Senior Giulia Giordano was named to the 100-person watch list for the honor earlier this season, as was Penn men’s lacrosse senior Brett Hughes.
Last season senior Ali DeLuca — who set the program scoring record — was one of five Tewaaraton finalists. The award went to Maryland’s Caitlyn McFadden.
