Forward Steve Danley of the Penn men's basketball team was honored with his first career nod as Ivy League Player of the Week.
Danley set career-highs on consecutive nights, scoring 16 points against Yale on Friday and 22 against Brown the following night.
The Quakers won both games in blowouts, beating the Elis 65-41 and the Bears 83-60.
Last Tuesday night in Penn's 67-59 win against St. Joseph's, the Germantown, Md., native scored 10 points and added six rebounds and a career-high six assists.
The Quakers (9-7, 2-0 Ivy) won the three games as part of their season-long five-game winning streak, and are the lone undefeated team remaining in the Ancient Eight.
The sophomore's award comes a week after sophomore guard Ibby Jaaber won the honor after scoring a career-high 24 points against Lafayette on Jan. 18.
