M. Golf pulls out of Temple Invitational
Due to a "miscommunication of dates" the Penn men's golf team withdrew from the Temple Invitational at Glenmaura National Golf Course this weekend.
However, the Quakers will play in a different tournament -- the Galloway Invitational, also hosted by Temple. This tournament will take place the weekend after the Penn-hosted Big 5 Tournament. The Quakers' fall season was set to end with the Big Five tourney on Oct. 18-19.
"It was disappointing. We obviously wanted to play, but we will still play the same amount," Penn coach Heath Davidson said. "It won't affect our performance [in the next tournament] at all."
