In separate incidents one week apart, two men were reportedly seen masturbating on the Walnut Street Bridge, just yards from the Class of 1923 Ice Rink.
On Sept. 10, a woman affiliated with the University reported that at 1:30 p.m., while walking on the bridge toward Center City, she observed a white man between 17 and 23 years of age, sitting on the steps of the bridge and masturbating.
The alleged offender was described as being between 5'7" and 5'10" tall, clean shaven, with light brown hair and of a medium build. He reportedly has a birthmark or mole on the left side of his face or neck.
The male was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt with blue letters and dark blue mesh shorts.
One week later, on Sept. 17, another woman affiliated with the University reported that around 7:30 p.m., a white man, about 20 years old, exposed himself and began to masturbate in front of her as she crossed the bridge.
The alleged offender was described as having wavy brown hair, of medium build and 5'10".
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark shorts.
This is not the first report of public masturbation on the east end of campus. Last semester, a white male was observed masturbating outside of the Ice Rink in broad daylight on Feb. 19.
In that case, the alleged offender was described as between 18 and 20 years of age, 5'10", weighing around 150 pounds, with sandy brown hair.
