Over two weeks since his Penn soccer career ended, the awards keep piling up for Henry Chen. Days after being named first team All-Ivy, Chen was announced last night as one of 17 athletes from area schools named to the Philadelphia Soccer 7 All-Star team. The Mount Laurel, N.J., native was the only Quaker to be named to the team. Chen, who divided his time between midfield and defense in his final year after primarily playing the backfield in previous campaigns, had his finest season with the Quakers. After being unanimously elected captain by his teammates before Penn's opener on September 8, he led the team in total scoring with 14 points. Villanova defender Jim Curtin and Drexel goalkeeper Mike Haberman were named co-winners of the Philadelphia Soccer 7's Chris Jones Player of the Year Award. -- Ryan Kelly
