Burglary * November 15 -- A woman whose affiliation with the University was unknown reported that her laptop computer, valued at $3,000, was taken from her apartment on the 4000 block of Spruce Street between 10 a.m. on November 13 and 9 a.m. on November 15. There were no signs of forced entry.
Theft * November 20 -- A female University student reported that her electronic organizer was taken from her backpack between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., while she was in class in 3718 Spruce Street. The student said she noticed a suspicious-looking man sitting behind her during class. She described him as a 19- or 20-year-old black male, 5'9" tall, stocky, with short hair and a dark complexion. The organizer was valued at $400.
* November 20 -- A University student reported that the passenger window of his locked car parked on 45th and Osage streets was smashed between 9:50 a.m. and 8 p.m. Taken was assorted camera equipment, valued at $1,150.
* November 20 -- A female University student reported that the rear driver-side window of her locked car, which was parked on the 4200 block of Sansom Street, was smashed between November 16 and November 20. Taken were 20 CDs, valued at $350.
