Theft * November 14 -- A male University student reported that he left his room in Hill House, at 3333 Walnut Street, to take a shower at 10:20 a.m. When he returned to the unlocked room 10 minutes later, his laptop computer, valued at $2,900, was missing.
* November 13 -- A University employee reported that $66 in cash was taken from the John Morgan Building at 3620 Hamilton Walk between 5 p.m. on November 10 and 5:30 p.m. on November 13. The money was taken from a cash box in an unsecured cabinet.
* November 13 -- A male University student reported that his jeans were taken from a bench near the basketball court in Gimbel Gym at 3701 Walnut Street at about 4:30 p.m. The jeans contained a cellular phone and a wallet. The items were valued together at $210.
* November 13 -- A man unaffiliated with the University reported that the passenger window of his car, which was parked in the Penn Tower Hotel garage at 399 S. 33rd Street, was smashed between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. Cash and several CDs were taken. The total value of the items was unknown.
* November 12 -- A woman affiliated with the University reported that her bicycle, which was secured to the railing of a residence on the 3900 block of Pine Street, was taken between November 10 and November 12. The bike was valued at $150.
* November 12 -- A woman affiliated with the University reported that her unattended backpack was taken from Houston Hall at 3417 Spruce Street at about 10:40 p.m. She later found the backpack outside of Houston Hall, but her ATM card, driver's license, day planner and calculator were missing. The items were valued together at $180.
