Assault * November 7 -- A male University employee reported that he was assaulted by three or four men on the 3400 block of Chestnut Street at around 12:45 a.m. The employee refused any medical treatment.
Auto theft * November 7 -- A female University student reported that her 1995 pink Chevrolet Cavalier was taken from the 200 block of South 43rd Street between 7:30 p.m. on November 5 and 8:45 a.m. on November 7. The car has Pennsylvania license plates.
Theft * November 7 -- A woman whose affiliation with the University was unknown reported that her unsecured, unattended cellular phone was taken from Blockley Hall at 418 Guardian Drive at about 12:45 p.m. The value of the phone was unknown.
* November 6 -- A male University student reported that the passenger window of his car, which was parked on the 4000 block of Baltimore Avenue, was smashed sometime in the past two weeks. Taken was a CD player and several CDs, together valued at $310.
* November 6 -- A male University student reported that the passenger window of his car, which was parked on the 3700 block of Sansom Street, was smashed between 11 p.m. on November 3 and 4:20 p.m. on November 6. Taken was a mini-CD player valued at $350.
* November 6 -- A male University employee reported that his office in the McNeil building at 3718 Locust Walk was entered through a locked window between 5:15 p.m. on November 3 and 8:10 on November 6. Taken was $250 in cash, a laptop computer, a digital camera and a video camera, together valued at $7,200.
