On the train, much alcohol was consumed by passengers in the next row -- helped by the fact that only one set of train tracks runs through CT. But the pair reached the destination, minus Sammy. And Gadget liked them apples. Passing was the name of the game: Hoffman for the TD, Gadget on a shirt purchase (he could go either way) and Homeboy on Route 3 into the Great White Beyond. Tequila was in the stands raving about BU Law -- his place in the press box occupied by new Hahvard Correspondent, UCLA. Excitement was in the air after the 'W'. Homeboy received a sign from Missoula and the Poultry Palestra stayed open (no unlucky Golden Boy). No minors were transported across state lines. But the Mawk had been censored. No winner in the eat-off. Personal records were set by each with amazing Wing 42 (40 dedicated to Staple Crop, 2 to the photos of Lymon on the wall). Alas, Sammy was not on the voyage. Gifts were exchanged: an extra bird for a press pass. Photos to prove it. Now it was back to the real Palestra on a train with more passengers than inflated grades in Old Nassau. This following a stop at BC for fight-night revelry. And Catholic girls. All that's left is to bring on Hoops. And Hutch No. 2.
