'The Line' set for this weekend at Palestra The starting time and place of "The Line" is kept secret until a short time beforehand. Last night, it began at 10 p.m. at the Button in front of Van Pelt Library. Students began lining up as soon as the announcement was made on the Athletic Department's World Wide Web site. By the official starting time of 10 p.m., nearly 40 students were in line. Students received bracelets to mark their place in line. Beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow, at least one member of each team must be in line at the Palestra at all times. Students may work in teams of up to four memers and the entire team must be present by 6 p.m. Sunday. Tomorrow, the Palestra will also play host to the Coaches versus Cancer Media/Autograph Day. From noon to 6 p.m., the six Philadelphia Division-I basketball programs will practice for 45 minutes apiece. Admission is free but donations to Coaches versus Cancer are encouraged. The Quakers will practice from 5 to 5:45 p.m. -- Rick Haggerty
