'Eagles Game Day Live' comes to Shula's 2 Beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday, FOX-TV Philadelphia's Eagles Game Day Live will be broadcast from the almost month-old restaurant in the Penn-owned Sheraton University City hotel, located at 36th and Chestnut streets. Game Day Live co-hosts Bill Vargass and Don Tollesson will travel to the steakhouse-sports bar, which has 84 televisions. The one-hour pregame show is filmed at Veterans Stadium when the Philadelphia Eagles are playing home games. But during away games or bye weeks, such as this one, the show looks for alternate locations. Mike Daly, the marketing director for WTXF-29, the local FOX affiliate, said he looks "for exciting places because the venue becomes the set for the show." "Shula's will be one of the best venues we've ever had," Daly said. Peter Breslow, an outside spokesperson for the restaurant, said the FOX officials were impressed with the number of Penn students that had come to Shula's to watch football when they visited the site two weeks ago. -- Seth Grossman Third Eye Blind and Eve 6 to perform at Drexel Popular rock bands Third Eye Blind and Eve 6 are coming to a campus near you -- but that campus is Drexel University. Sponsored by MTV's Campus Invasion, the concert will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Physical Education and Athletic Center at 33rd and Market streets. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the bands are scheduled to play from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Penn students will have to cough up $15, though a Drexel ID will shave $5 off that price. Tickets can be purchased at the office of Drexel's Campus Activity Board located in room 1025 of MacAlister Hall at 33rd and Chestnut streets. In addition, MTV will also sponsor a "flea market" at Buckley Field, located at 33rd and Arch streets, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day. Companies including AT&T; Corp. and Intel Corp. will sponsor booths with free products. The flea market will also feature chances to try out for MTV shows The Real World and Road Rules.
