James Earl Jones speech tix go on sale Monday "[The fee] is just to make sure people don't take a ticket and not go," Connaissance Co-Chairperson Carter Caldwell explained. Connaissance is selling 875 tickets on Locust Walk from noon to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, hoping to sell half each day. All but 100 tickets will be sold to students next week, and "there's no twist this time" for distributing them, according to Caldwell, a College junior. But because Irvine Auditorium is closed, the smaller Zellerbach is the only venue available. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, and Jones' speech will begin at 8 p.m. Caldwell said there is a quite captivating reason to attend. "Apparently, if you see him walking around and ask him to say a line from a movie -- or from Bell Atlantic -- he will," Caldwell said. "Like if you wanted to hear him say 'Luke, I am your father,' he'll do it." -- Maureen Tkacik
