Witnesses help police apprehend suspect At approximately 2:55 p.m., a man allegedly snatched a woman's purse near 36th and Sansom streets. But as the suspect fled east on Sansom, three witnesses chased down and tackled him in front of the Law School, according to University Police Sgt. Tim Trucksess. University Police arrived on the scene and arrested Ralph Fisher, a 19-year-old white male. The woman was not injured in the strong-arm robbery attempt. In an unrelated incident Saturday, University Police arrested a woman for allegedly threatening residents of a house at 40th and Chestnut streets with a knife. -- Scott Lanman
