Campus Crime Report: Monday, November 11, 1996

Illegal possession of a weaponIllegal possession of a weaponNovember 10 -- University Police arrested a man with a gun outside of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 3:19 a.m. Theft of Auto November 8 -- A University employee reported her 1995 Ford Explorer stolen from a University parking lot behind the Blau House between 8:15 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. November 7 -- A service contractor working in the area reported his silver Plymouth Reliance stolen. It had been parked on 40th Street between Spruce and Pine streets between 8 p.m. November 6 and 7 a.m. November 7. Hit and run November 9 -- A female student was hit by a 1988 Toyota Camry on the 3900 block of Walnut Street at 4:05 p.m. Immediately after the accident, three males who were in the car fled the scene. The Camry was reported stolen from Center City last week. The student sustained minor injuries in the accident and police took her to the emergency room of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was treated and released. -- Ben Hammer All information obtained from University Police.
