7-11 robbed for seventh7-11 robbed for seventhtime since June The police report on the incident did not indicate how much money was taken during Saturday's incident. When a man robbed the store of $70 at the same time a week earlier, employees also told police he showed them a silver handgun. But a University Police report did not indicate whether investigators believe the robbery is related to earlier incidents, Sgt. Keith Christian said. He noted last week that many of the robberies at the 7-11 at 38th and Chestnut streets have been during the daylight hours. Police have not arrested suspects for any of the seven robberies. The store has not implemented any new security measures since the robberies began, employee Prakash Reddy said, adding that a video camera records the area in front of the cash register at all times. The store's manager has given videotapes of the robberies to police after each incident, Reddy said. -- Ben Hammer Car accident victim still in critical condition A female University student hit by a car last week remained in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as of press time last night, according to Nursing Administrator Nancy Williams. The 21-year-old Korean woman has not been back in surgery since Thursday night, Williams said. Doctors operated on the woman twice Thursday to repair internal injuries to her head and legs. The woman was struck by a car Thursday morning at the corner of 37th and Chestnut streets as she left her home at International House. -- Ben Hammer
