It replaces a security plan, released less than one year ago, which had been developed by University President Judith Rodin and former Police Commissioner John Kuprevich. – Yochi Dreazen 'Dr. Ruth' tickets on sale today Tickets to hear a lecture by renowned sex therapist Ruth Westheimer go on sale today for $4 on Locust Walk, according to Jewish Campus Service Corps fellow Arianna Koransky. Tickets will also be on sale Tuesday, and at the door, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Known to most as "Dr. Ruth," Westheimer will speak on Jewish sexuality during her talk at Irvine Auditorium Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the Hillel building. Hillel, the Steinhardt Jewish Heritage Program, the Philadelphia Jewish Federation, Connaissance and Facilitating Learning About Sexual Health are sponsoring the speech. – Randi Feigenbaum First Anglican woman bishop to speak at Baccalaureate The Rev. Barbara Harris, the first woman to be ordained a bishop in the Anglican Communion, has been selected to be the University's Baccalaureate Service speaker. Harris is a native of Philadelphia and graduated from the Charles Morris Price School of Advertising and Journalism. After spending years as president of Joseph V. Baker Associates Inc., she joined the Sun Company as community relations consultant. After attending Villanova University and the Urban Theology Unit in Sheffield, England, Harris graduated from the Pennsylvania Foundation for Pastoral Counseling. She was ordained as a priest in 1980 and served as a chaplain in Philadelphia and Norristown, Pa. On February 11, 1980, Harris was consecrated a bishop, the first woman to be ordained to the episcopate in the Anglican Communion. Harris has received honorary degrees from 12 colleges, universities and theological schools. – Jaclyn LaPlaca
