The lectures, sponsored by the South Asian Association, will deal with issues facing Asian-Americans today. Topics will include the role of Asian-American women in the U.S., job discrimination against Asian-Americans, and relations between different Asian ethnicities. Asian-American professionals from various fields will lead the sessions, and there will be a roundtable discussion after each one. The lectures form part of the first annual conference of the South Asian Association at the University. Registration will be available today on Locust Walk from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to noon. The registration fee is $8. –Melissa de Leon Kite and Key holds elections Kite and Key will hold its annual elections at 7 p.m. on Sunday night in the Ben Franklin Room of Houston Hall. All Kite and Key members who have completed at least 10 hours of service are eligible to vote. All twelve of the positions on Kite and Key's executive board – including president, vice president, secretary and treasurer – will be contested. Among the candidates for president are College juniors Roberta Griff, Beth Hirschfelder, and Simone Betchen, although any Kite and Key member who has served 60 or more hours may run for president, current Vice President and College senior Heidi Goldstein said last night. –Joshua Goldwert
