This weekend, Penn women’s golf closed out its fall season with an exciting win over Ivy competition at the Boston Golf Club.

At the All-Ivy Harvard invitational, Penn shot a combined 318 on day one to put itself in second place, seven strokes behind the host Crimson. A team 319 on the 72-par course pushed the Quakers five strokes past Harvard, which tied with Columbia for second.

Junior Isabel Han finished 15 strokes over on the weekend to lead Penn, and tied for fourth in the overall standings. Michelle Piyapattra of Columbia won the individual title, shooting even par on the final day. She was also the individual winner at Ivy Championships last year.

The win puts Penn in a good position heading into the offseason, as the Quakers will look to regain the Ivy championship they won in 2009.

Yale took home the title in 2010, but finished fifth this weekend, 19 strokes behind the Quakers.
