Penn Law Students for Justice in Palestine released a statement on July 2 discouraging students from participating in itrek, an annual academic trip to Israel for business, law, policy, and STEM students.

Students attended INTR 391: Senior Seminar for Thesis Research using virtual reality headsets, which allowed them to customize their avatars, walk around, and have face-to-face conversations with their classmates.

The researchers used MRI scans to look at different parts of the brain, measure brain activity while the subjects imagined events, and observe the vividness and valence of the imaginations.

Wingard graduated from the Graduate School of Education in 2000 and will be the first Black president of Temple.

After taking a year away from school, many of these now members of the Class of 2025 said they are optimistic about the upcoming semester. 

The Fulbright Program, paid for by the United States government, funds up to 12 months of international experience for the award recipients.
