A key player this weekend in both games for Penn women's soccer was freshman forward Isobel Glass. 

In a successful weekend for Penn women’s soccer, the team took down Dartmouth 3-1 on Saturday and Delaware State 4-0 on Monday. 

The Quakers had been the losers of three straight against Princeton, Syracuse, and Harvard before picking up a win at home against Cornell last week, and they kept their momentum going in the Ocean State.

Men and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, and field hockey are all in action this weekend. All Quaker teams will face Ivy League competition.

In between an internship with Bank of America and the upcoming college track and field season, junior Grace O’Shea spent two weeks of her summer at the Team USA bobsled training camp.

An afternoon hair salon appointment. For most people, this seems like a relatively normal thing. But for junior Autumn Leak, this was the beginning of her volleyball career. 

The Quakers competed in its third tournament of the year — the Yale Fall Intercollegiate — on Oct. 9 and 10. The team finished sixth out of 10 at the 54-hole invitational.

Despite a great effort, the Quakers lost to Columbia on Saturday, dropping their away record to 0-3-2.

After a freshman campaign that included 14 appearances, the Dallas native is off to a blazing start in her junior year.

Just as they were starting to gain some momentum, Penn volleyball suffered a tough loss to Cornell on Saturday, losing all three sets in the match.

In a game that required extra time to determine a winner, the Quakers were able to come away with a gritty 2-1 win over Cornell.

After an eight-game losing streak, Penn volleyball is now on the rebound after winning two straight games against Ivy League opponents.

The women’s soccer team had a successful weekend, with a 2-0 win over Cornell, extending their spotless home record to 6-0 due to contributions from in-form senior Emily Pringle. 

In Ava Rosati's place back at Penn is sophomore Sabien Paumen, a native of the Netherlands who, until this season, had never played a minute of collegiate field hockey.

Teuschl came to Penn after having played three full seasons with the FC Virginia Development Academy club team, a key factor in her evident maturity.

Following their previous tournament at Columbia, Penn women’s tennis team continued their success this past weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional.

 For the first time in a month, the Quakers emerged victorious.
