As fall sports come to a close and winter sports are just kicking off, Penn fans are in for an action-packed weekend. Here is an overview of this weekend's upcoming events.

This Saturday at 12:00 p.m., Penn football (3-5, 1-4 Ivy) will visit Harvard (6-2, 3-2) in its penultimate game of the season. Four DP Sports reporters make their picks ahead of the game against the Crimson. 

Straight off its shocking 15-12 loss to Cornell, Penn football (3-5, 1-4 Ivy) will face Harvard (6-2, 3-2) this coming Saturday in an attempt to salvage an increasingly disappointing season. 

The 2021 fall seasons came to their respective ends this past weekend for Penn men’s and women’s tennis.

After defeating rival Penn State in overtime on Oct. 24, Penn’s club water polo team clinched the top spot in the Mid-Atlantic division to advance to the National Collegiate Club Championship in Huntsville, Ala. 

For the first time in program history, the Penn men’s squash team will enter the season ranked No. 1 in the nation, returning multiple All-Americans and key contributors from its No. 2 seeded team in the 2019-20 season.

In a 15-12 loss to the Big Red, the Quakers could not find a way to generate effective offense against a Cornell defense that ranks in the bottom half of nearly every defensive statistical category in the Ancient Eight.

This Saturday, both Penn men’s and women’s basketball took the court at the Palestra for the annual Red & Blue scrimmages.

Despite holding visiting Princeton scoreless to the 84th minute, the final whistle blew on a 1-0 loss to Penn men’s soccer.

With the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) South Division title on the line, Penn was unable to sink Navy. 

With three starters out on Homecoming, Penn turned to younger players to fill their spots and ultimately fell to Cornell, 15-12, giving the Big Red its first Ivy League conference win of the season.
