The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver was a healthy scratch in the first three games of the season as the sixth player on the depth chart at his position, but will suit up Sunday against the Chicago Bears. 

The Quakers went back to back this weekend, with some of the men's team competing at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational in Madison, Wis. on Friday and the rest of the men and women's team racing the next day at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem Pa.

The Red and Blue lost their second game this season and first in conference play, falling 1-0 to the Big Red in double overtime. The game’s lone goal came from the Big Red’s freshman Emeka Eneli in the 103rd minute.  

Behind its lineman on both sides of the ball, Dartmouth methodically dismantled Penn in both teams’ Ivy opener to the tune of 37-14. 

Coming off a huge win against Cornell where the defense and rushing attack played a huge role, the Quakers couldn't keep the good times rolling against divisional rivals Chestnut Hill.

The Quakers will be split between two meets over the weekend: the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wis. on Friday, and the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa. on Saturday. 

With this much turnover in just one offseason, the returning members of the defensive line have had an added amount of pressure to step up and perform. They’ve certainly responded well to the pressure.

It’s been a few years in the making, but last month, the Red and Blue formally unveiled the team’s new Nike-made outfits, featuring updated colors and an all-white alternate helmet.

Over the last few years, Penn sprint football has been one of Penn's more successful varsity programs. It also has one of the more — if not the most — unique recruiting processes.  

Entering Saturday afternoon’s contest at Dartmouth, both teams are 2-0 again, both are opening Ivy League play, and both haven’t forgotten last year one bit.

Matos, now a senior, saw his position at Penn both inside and outside of sports change significantly over his first three years. He went from a walk-on freshman on the football team to a sophomore playing  both offensive and defensive line for sprint football to a junior leading a magazine and a service trip. 

Ever since Klaus began playing football, he’s always been focused on winning. Coming into each and every season, his ultimate goal is earning a title.

Just two weeks into the season, the Ravens, who have been a member since 2013, are officially no longer a part of the Collegiate Sprint Football League.

The question facing the Quakers in the third game of the young season is whether they can find consistency on both sides of the ball for an entire game. Their first chance to answer this question comes this Friday at Franklin Field against Chestnut Hill.
