A battle for the top of the table: Penn football travels to Harvard to face conference-leading Crimson

Malachi Hosley, the Quakers' very own Homecoming hero, delivered an outstanding performance this past Saturday. The freshman running back rushed for 261 yards, marking the third-highest single-game yardage in Penn football (6-2, 3-2 Ivy) history. The team dominated the Cornell Big Red (3-5, 2-3) with a final score of 23-8.

Last season, Princeton and Columbia split the Ivy League women's basketball regular season title, but it was the Tigers who emerged victorious from the Ivy League Tournament and earned the chance to represent the Ancient Eight in March Madness. But in the months since last March, teams have been able to reload, while also bidding farewell to some key contributors. Now, with just a few weeks left before the start of the season, let's see how the Ivy League looks to shake out. 



Penn football comes up clutch to defeat Columbia 20-17 for first Ivy victory

NEW YORK — With most students away for fall break, Penn football also hit the road, traveling north to Columbia for its first away conference game this season. And after three hours of football under a cloud-filled sky, with rain falling for most of the game, the Quakers (4-1, 1-1) will be returning to campus with a 20-17 defeat of the Lions (2-3, 0-2) on their homecoming weekend.



Penn football suffers closely fought but narrow 23-20 OT defeat against Dartmouth

In the first glimpses of brightness after a week of gloomy rain, Penn football fans hoped for the Quakers to shine in their first game of conference play against the Dartmouth. Unfortunately for the Red and Blue, the Big Green would soak up all the sun and glory after a closely fought, but eventually decisive 23-20 victory.
