EASTON, Pa. — Penn football is locked in a tight contest with Lafayette through the first half. After 30 minutes of play in front of Lafayette's homecoming crowd, the Quakers are on top by a score of 14-10.

Sophomore wide receiver Ryan Cragun has continued his hot start to the season from last week, putting up 98 yards of offense and two touchdowns today, his first scores in a Penn uniform. Senior quarterback Nick Robinson is just as explosive, going 8-for-12 for 114 yards and throwing for both touchdowns.

Things didn't always look so optimistic, though. Penn only put up six yards of offense in the entire first quarter compared to Lafayette's 92. The Leopards marched down for a field goal on their opening drive, but a 3-0 lead was all they could manage through the first 15 minutes of play.

After a blocked field goal early in the second, Penn finally answered midway through the quarter with Cragun's first score from Robinson, but Lafayette stormed right back to reclaim the lead at 10-7.

With time winding down in the half, the Red and Blue put together a textbook five-minute drive to head into the locker room in front. With one half still to play, though, anything can still happen.
