Friday night lights are back.
The party is coming back to Franklin Field on Friday night as Penn Athletics is set to host the second fan fest before a football game this season. Thanks to the Quakers’ game being aired nationally on NBC Sports, Penn has a chance to replicate that high school feel with a tailgate prior to the Friday night tilt.
Following the success of the inaugural fan fest before the Penn-Columbia football game in October, the second of four planned fan fests will go off prior to Friday’s Penn-Harvard game.
As Senior Night for the Quakers, it will be the final football fan fest. The other two fan fests will occur during the basketball season — first against Villanova later in November and then against Princeton in February.
The festivities will not only include food and hot chocolate, but are set to be highlighted by a performance from Kenn Kweder.
The fan fest will kick off on Shoemaker Green at 6 p.m. and continue right up until kickoff.
