Assault, crime and theft among the crimes reported between April 1 and April 7. | DP File Photo

Assault:

April 2: At 3:34 p.m., police witnessed an argument on the intersection of 39th and Ludlow streets between an unaffiliated 20-year-old woman and someone else, whose gender and age was not given. The woman claimed that the offender hit her in the stomach, though no injuries were observed, and she ended up refusing medical attention. Police did not make an arrest.

Fraud:

April 7: An affiliated 20-year-old man attempted to pay a property manager on South 42nd Street using false contact information. No arrest was made.

Other Offense:

April 2: An unaffiliated 25-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of 29th and Ludlow streets for violating his parole. Police located him while investigating a disturbance around 4:07 p.m.

April 3: An unaffiliated 33-year-old man was given a citation at 11:52 a.m. after police witnessed him selling goods on Locust Walk. He had been told that he needed a license to do so. 

April 5: At Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, police were alerted at 2:54 p.m. to threats that had been made against a patient by someone the patient knew.
