Hey undergrads, my name is Chris Cortes, also known as “Sassy Chris,” and I’m running for UA Vice President. After being on the UA for almost two years now, I have been appointed Civic and Philadelphia Engagement (CPE) Committee Director, a Cabinet position on the UA that has properly prepared me for this Executive position. One of my most tangible projects thus far has been the formation of the Penn Preview Days Committee, a body of diverse students who work closely with Admissions to enhance the experience of prospective students, including their interaction with current students. If elected Vice President, I will continue to work closely with student organizations to ensure that new organizations are encouraged to form on campus, despite the limited funding available, in addition to working with peers to hopefully relieve some of the pressures placed on current student organizations. Vote Sassy Chris for UA VP!
