As a UA Representative, I want to say thank you to the Penn Community for giving me their trust in my ability to positively contribute to our student government. I have, since last fall, assumed the role of Co-Coordinator of the UA Airport Shuttles, introduced a discussion paper outlining a plan for the improvement of the Shuttle Program, openly defended the rights of Muslim students in front of the UA body in my sponsorship of the UA resolution condemning the NYPD’s racial-profiling of Muslim undergraduates at Penn, and worked on a policy with President Amy Guttmann that would improve the social and academic life of Penn’s undocumented student population. Now, with your help, I am seeking to build on what I have already done for Penn in seeking re-election and in promising the Penn student body that shall remain a fierce defender of our rights and interests.
