With three singles matches remaining against defending Ivy champion Princeton, the Quakers held a 3-1 lead.
But in champion-like fashion, the Tigers bounced back to win three straight and claim the match, 4-3.
The Quakers (6-9, 0-1 Ivy) dominated the doubles point Saturday at Levy Pavilion, but only No. 1 Connie Hsu and No. 6 Emma Whitfield notched singles victories over Princeton (8-7, 1-0).
Tied heading into the final match, senior Alexa Ely had a chance to seal the deal for the Quakers. She fell behind early in both sets and lost tie-breakers in each.
