After more than eight hours of deliberation Monday night, the NEC announced its new executive board, with Wharton junior Nick Greif elected chairman.
“I could not be more pleased with the newly elected Executive Board,” outgoing NEC Chairwoman Rachel Levick, a College senior, wrote in an e-mail.
College sophomore Ben Kruger was elected vice chairman of elections. Wharton sophomore Barbara Gao and College freshman Justin Moore will serve as co-vice chairpersons for nominations, while College junior Margo Peyton will serve as vice chairwoman for education.
College freshman Jeremy Brinster was elected vice chairman for publicity and College freshman Morgan Finkelstein was elected vice chairwoman for administration and finance.
Greif said he is thrilled with the new board.
“The [outgoing] board did a great job of electing people based on their passions” for the NEC, he said. “I’m excited to work with an exec board that is gung-ho about what they are doing.”
