The Division of Public Safety responded to 38 Spring Fling-related incidents this year, an increase of 58 percent from 24 last year.
The number of hospital cases went up from 19 last year to 24 this year.
The majority of the individuals hospitalized were female. Of the 10 people taken to the hospital from the concert on Friday night, nine were female, according to Capt. Joseph Fischer.
"We were very thankful there were no major injuries related to the alcohol abuse, which is our biggest concern," Deputy Chief of Investigations Michael Morrin said.
DPS spokeswoman Stef Cella commended the Medical Emergency Response Team, a student-run organization that provides emergency medical services, on its performance during Spring Fling.
"They were exceptional," she said. "They were thrown up on. They were up all night."
DPS made six arrests for citations for things like disorderly conduct, up from two last year.
One large party disturbance was reported this year, as opposed to zero last year.
"The coordination between Penn Police, Philadelphia Police and Allied Barton security was very, very tight," Vice President for Public Safety Maureen Rush said. "People had a great time and were responsible and, for the most part, orderly."
Two burglaries were also reported over Spring Fling weekend.
