Ibrahim Jaaber might be raising eyebrows for the Detroit Pistons in the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League, but Harvard grad Brian Cusworth is having a much quieter week.
The Crimson big man, who used his last semester of eligibility in fall 2006, has submitted solid, if unspectacular numbers for the Golden State squad, which also includes former Bradley center Patrick O'Bryant.
In 2 games, Cusworth has played 19 minutes, scoring 10 points but grabbing only two rebounds and picking up five fouls.
Cusworth was a potent force in the Ivy League, where big, skilled centers and forwards are relatively rare. In 18 games during the 2006-07 season, he shot 51.5 percent from the floor and averaged a career-high 17.4 points per game.
There will be no summer league Ivy rematch between Cusworth and Jaaber, though, as the Warriors won't play the Pistons.
