Yale capitalizes on wins to get to second

It appears that both the voters and the statistics are still holding Princeton's dismal non-conference record against it, despite its (mostly) strong play in Ivy League competition so far.

Despite Tuesday's loss to the Quakers, the Tigers are still in sole possession of second place in the standings. But their computer scores and poll results still haven't allowed them into the top half of the DP Ivy Rankings.

Meanwhile, Yale jumped two spots over Harvard and Cornell on the strength of wins over the Big Red and the Lions.

And the Quakers' lead over the rest of the pack grew even larger.

Things didn't go as well for the Quaker women.

Two more losses dropped their computer score even more, but Yale and Columbia couldn't pull ahead. In fact, Yale fell back into the basement, and their poll score fell into the 'teens.

Dartmouth, meanwhile, pulled even further ahead of its closest competition.
