Dunphy lands prized recruit Schreiber
One of the Penn men's basketball team's top targets for the Class of 2010, Andreas Schreiber, has committed to join the Quakers, according to highly-regarded recruiting Web site Scout.com. A 6-foot-8, 205-lb. power forward from Los Angeles, Calif., Schreiber currently attends Brentwood High School, although he lived with his family in Sweden before heading across the Atlantic Ocean. Insiders.com rated Schreiber as the No. 2 player at his position on the West Coast. Schreiber chose Penn over Loyola Marymount, UC-Santa Barbara and Princeton.
At this point, Schreiber and another 6-foot-8 forward, Justin Reilly of Richardson, Tex., are the only players to have confirmed that they are coming to the Palestra next year.

Penn football game to air on satellite radio
Tomorrow's Penn-Columbia football game will be broadcast nationwide on Sirius Satellite Radio as part of a deal between the broadcaster and the Ivy League. It is Penn's first appearance on the Sirius schedule this season.
Sirius and the Ivy League signed a multi-year deal this past August to broadcast a "Game of the Week" in football and men's basketball. The nationwide audience will hear the home team's broadcast. The games which air nationally are chosen in the week before they take place.
