Sophomore Quakers pitcher appears in SI
Penn sophomore Steven Schwartz is featured in the "Faces in the Crowd" section of this week's issue of Sports Illustrated.
The right-handed pitcher for the Penn baseball team was cited for the 9-0 record he posted while pitching for the Bayside Yankees this past summer.
Schwartz led the Yankees to the National Amateur Baseball Federation Senior Division World Series championship, and was named tournament MVP.
As a freshman with the Quakers, Schwartz pitched 32.2 innings over 12 games and recorded a 4.13 ERA.

M. Hoops practice on the water postponed
Because of this morning's inclement weather, the men's basketball team's rowing practice was cancelled.
No one close to the team could be reached immediately to say if there would be another date for the team's launch on the Schuylkill.
