Rhoads named Big 5 Player of the Week
Sophomore guard Joey Rhoads of the Penn women's basketball team was named Big 5 Player of the Week for her performance against Lafayette.
Rhoads scored a game-high 14 points off the bench as part of the Quakers' 68-33 battering of the Leopards at Kirby Sports Arena last Tuesday night.
She once again reached double-figures this week, scoring 15 points in a 68-53 win over Lehigh.
Despite only starting one game this year, the Huntingdon Valley, Pa., native is third on the team in scoring with 9.0 points per game.

Any Princeton fan who makes a donation of $10 or more to help the victims of December's tsunami in Asia will receive a free ticket to the Tigers' men's basketball game against Haverford Monday.
All money raised will benefit survivors via the International Rescue Committee and CARE USA, organizations that provide food and supplies to the devastated region.
The Tigers stand at 8-5, and will face the Division III Fords at 7:30 Monday in their last game before opening Ivy League play Friday Jan. 28 against Yale at Jadwin Gymnasium.
