Sophomore Ibby Jaaber stole any momentum Bucknell managed to build early on as Penn opened a 32-13 lead in the first half. Jaaber poured in 14 points and had seven steals for the Red and Blue who took a 38-20 lead into the half. Bucknell got as close as nine midway through the second half, but the Quakers regrouped and held on for a 65-52 win at the Palestra. Penn improves to 3-2 on the season, while the Bison fall to 3-4.
