The Penn men's basketball team withstood its toughest test of the Ivy League season to date, beating Brown 73-66 in a matchup of the last two unbeaten teams in the Ivies. Penn guard David Klatsky hit a three-pointer with 38 seconds to go to give the Quakers a 71-66 lead and Penn senior forward Ugonna Onyekwe blocked a shot at the other end to seal the win. The Quakers ended the game on a 12-0 run. Trailing 66-61, Klatsky and Jeff Schiffner hit back-to-back threes to give Penn (15-5, 7-0) the lead at 67-66. Penn had trailed much of the second half before Schiffner's three -- which came with 2:45 remaining in the game. Brown (12-10, 7-1) did not score a field goal in the last 5:50 of the game. Onyekwe had 21 points and 13 rebounds but was largely contained on the offensive end in the second half, scoring only two points after the break. Senior forward Koko Archibong, who appeared to break out of his slump Friday night against Yale, also had an impressive game, scoring 18 points and going 9-for-10 from the free throw line. Klatsky was in the game for crunch time due to fellow guard Andrew Toole's case of influenza, which limited him to 18 mintues. Penn contained Brown's much-heralded backcourt duo of Earl Hunt and Jason Forte, holding them to a combined 20 points on 6-for-27 shooting.
