Burglary
*Nov. 19 -- A male University student reported that between 5:15 p.m. and 5:35 p.m., someone opened the locked door of his apartment on the 4200 block of Osage Avenue and removed a laptop computer and stereo system, valued together at $3,100.
*Nov. 17 -- A male University student reported that at 11 p.m., someone kicked in the door of his apartment on the 200 block of South 42nd Street and removed a TV/VCR system valued at $300.
Theft
*Nov. 19 -- A plainclothes University Police officer reported that shortly before 3:15 p.m., he observed a slimly built African-American man wearing brown pants break into a parked vehicle at the corner of Walnut and 32nd streets. The alleged offender was last seen running east on Walnut after reportedly dropping a laptop computer, which he had allegedly taken from the vehicle.
*Nov. 19 -- A male University student reported that between midnight and 10:15 a.m. someone smashed the passenger side window of his sports utility vehicle which was parked in Lot No. 5 at 220 S. 32nd St. A CD player with a detachable face, valued at $500, was reportedly taken from the vehicle.
*Nov. 19 -- A male University employee reported that between Nov. 17 and Nov. 19, someone took various tools, valued at $200, which had been stored in the Left Bank apartment complex at 3131 Walnut St.
